Being Single Magazine was founded in 1982 as bi-monthly publication.Â The philosophy and purpose behind this periodical was to on in-depth look at subjects and topics relevant to the singles lifestyle that is not found on the pages of general interest magazines.

The idea is to present rarely taught life-skills and promote, through uncapped dialogue, a better understanding of the sexes in an intriguing format designed to entertain, enlighten and educate.Â The concept is based on articles being presented in a unique and revealing form to captivate and engage the readerâ€™s imagination.

For the last twenty years, Being Single has addressed issues of particular interest and concern for an upscale audience of men and women who are highly educated.

One of the goals of Being Single is to destroy the myths and imagery associated with the single lifestyle, which projects singles as reckless social swingers, who live and breathe for â€œ a good timeâ€? and/or frivolous pursuits.

Being Single, is a monthly publication, committed to presenting subject matter to enhance and inspire the reader to seek the best life has to offer.
